The Double Drum Magnetic Separator consists of a stationary permanent magnetic assembly having a uniform and everlasting magnetic field across the entire width of the drum, which is effective over approximately half the drum circumference. The drum shell, made of non-magnetic stainless steel, revolves around the magnetic field. As the material is fed uniformly, powerful magnets attract ferrous particles and hold them in the rotating shell. The non-magnetic material falls freely away from the shell when the rotating shell carries iron particles through the stationary magnetic chain. The separators are available in standard drum diameters of 300mm, and 400 mm, and drum width range from 300mm to 1200mm.
